Maintenance costs revealed
Running Government House costs the public purse around £32,000 a year.
That figure was released after a Freedom of Information request asked for the site's market value, operating costs, dimensions, and details of renovations.
The Department of Infrastructure says the Lieutenant Governor's residence has never been valued for sale, but upkeep costs from 2012 to this year totalled £144,000.
Utility bills for the property at Bemahague Farm cost around £2,400 per quarter - and oil alone over the last financial year cost £10,000.
Maintenance of the 14,100 ft² building over the same period ran to around £20,000.
