Donations help scores of charities
Peel's back-to-basics charity shop is celebrating a major fundraising landmark.
The store on Peel promenade, run entirely by volunteers, is a stand-alone community effort, not part of any larger charity or organisation.
Second-hand sales over the past 15 years have raised £1 million, which has been given away to a wide range of Island good causes.
Four Manx charities receive regular support - the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal, Chernobyl's Children, the poppy appeal and Peel carnival.
VIP guests including Chief Minister Howard Quayle and local MHKs wil join the shop's celebration at Corrin Hall this morning (7 April).

The coffee morning is between 10am and midday at the Corrin Hall, and all are welcome.
