Dippers raise money for multiple local charities
Hundreds of locals have been braving less-than tepid Manx waters today for a brisk New Year's Day dip.
Elvis, George from Rainbow, and even the odd mankini have been spotted at various locations around the Island as multiple dips take place from Port St Mary to Ramsey.
The potential hypothermia-inducing tradition was started in Castletown in 1983 and has since raised more than £100,000 for local charities.
