Organisers from the One World Centre are planning a night-time vigil from 8pm on Sunday on the western shore facing northern Ireland, as leaders of the world's richest nations gather for the G8 summit on Sunday.
The event's in support of the Global Poverty Project - which says there is enough food for everyone - if poorer nations had their fair share.
As darkness falls, hundreds of tiny tea lights will be lit to spell 'IF'.
