Manx resident's fear for holiday home
A Manx resident with property in Florida has made preparations ahead of Hurricane Irma.
Juan Thomas has a holiday home in Orlando - where Irma is expected to hit at wind speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.
Many of his friends there have evacuated, heading further north to escape the storm - from where millions of south Floridians are sheltering after leaving their homes behind in south and central regions.
It's strengthened again, as it reaches US shores.
Mr Thomas says he's lived through hurricane season before, but Irma is unprecedented:
