Car passengers unable to leave the vessel in Liverpool
The Manannan has been experiencing problems in Liverpool this afternoon (12 October).
Car drivers have been unable to leave the vessel after what's believed to be a hydraulic failure on the vessel's ramp.
An onboard announcement has informed passengers that a hydraulic valve block has failed, and engineers are attempting to fit a replacement.
The Manannan left the Island on just three engines this morning, after one engine failed on its Douglas-bound sailing last night, meaning it arrived in the port around 90 minutes late.
Manx Radio understands it was hoped repairs would be carried out to fix the fautly engine later today or tomorrow.
