More than £100,000 raised, much more needed
Further significant progress has been made by the team behind the hyperbaric chamber.
An update from the manager of the facility, John Houghton, says work is well under way to finalise the specifications, before a new chamber is ordered from the manufacturers.
He says £102,000 has been raised so far through crowd funding, but lots more is still needed.
The charity is hoping to hear some positive news soon about some significant funding from wealthy benefactors.
A fundraiser and events coordinator has also been appointed; Marcie Dean says she's absolutely thrilled to take up the role, and wants to hear from individuals and businesses who'd like to help.
She can be reached via Marcie@manx.net or by calling 467668.
