Subject to planning approval and licensing permissions
Douglas Council has agreed to install an ice rink at Noble's Park for the festive season.
It's subject to the registration of the company, planning consent and an approved licence to operate the site.
The business, which has not been named, would use the tennis courts from the 25 November until 11 January for the set up and 'dismantling' phases.
The local authority says an ice rink would provide a 'safe' and 'fun' activity for residents to enjoy.
