Sheltered low areas at risk as well
There's a yellow weather warning for ice on the Island's roads which is valid until 10am.
The matrix signs for the Mountain Road are advising drivers of the risk of ice following wintry showers yesterday evening and overnight.
There's also the possibility of ice in some well sheltered low-lying spots, particularly in central parts of the Island.
This week is forecast to be cold with a continued risk of frost and ice overnight with wintry showers also a feature.
