Exhibition opens to public at St Thomas' Church
A giant illuminated hanging Earth is now on display in a Douglas church.
Called Gaia and created by artist, Luke Jerram, it's in the nave at St Thomas' Church from today until 12 May.
It's free to view, but people need to book a time slot in advance.
Aly Lewin is the Head of Climate Change at Net Zero Isle of Man - who helped facilitate the globe's visit to the Island.
She says the hope is that the exhibition will help inspire people to take action against climate change:
Sessions (up to 45 minutes each) are between: Mon - Sat 10am - 4pm, Sun 1pm - 4pm, selected evening openings (generally Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat) 6pm - 8pm.
Day sessions are free with donations welcome on entry or in advance to St Thomas' Church, evening sessions are £3.
Special events - including concerts beneath the globe from the likes of Biskee Brisht - may have a separate charge.
All attendees must have a ticket.
