Students and staff coping with new system
Island schools are making the transition from GCSE to iGCSE well, according to the department of education and children (DEC).
The switch was made last year after the UK government opted to replace the A to G grading system with a new, numbered format.
Some people were concerned both teachers and students would struggle with the changes.
But School Improvement Adviser Joel Smith says everyone is doing their best to make it work:
