Phone conman isn't connected to Constabulary despite claims
Isle of Man police say James Taylor may be a singer – but he’s certainly not an officer raising money for a crime prevention campaign.
The constabulary says people have reported a man’s phoned them claiming to be involved with the police force here and asking for money for charity.
However, he’s an imposter running a scam and officers are warning people not to give out any information about themselves over the phone.
If you have any concerns, you can contact police on 631212.
