MLC says a shortage of workers is creating challenges for Manx businesses
A politician and demographer says a shortage of workers is holding back economic development on the Isle of Man.
Paul Craine MLC, who recently published an updated study of the Manx population, warns it's been a challenging time for population growth.
Ahead of this weekend's Census, Mr Craine's data shows fewer people moving to the Isle of Man are coming from the UK and European nations, with increasing numbers coming from further afield.
He says more residents of working age are essential:
