Plans pending budget permission
Commissioners have agreed in principle to a number of refurbishment works in Onchan Park.
It follows a public consultation over the summer, which drew a large number of opinions on what should be done with the 60-year-old leisure facility.
Suggestions ranged from a winter ice rink to a new community sports centre in the Nivison Stadium.
Pending budget permission, the park's crazy golf course will now be replaced next year, and the 'kiddie car' miniature go-kart track extended.
There will also be disabled access improvements in Views restaurant, and an increased push to market the park to customers.
