A new era of assessment for Island residents claiming incapacity benefits is on the way.
The government has confirmed personal capability tests will be reintroduced later this year following a six month trial period.
Around 2,000 Island residents have been claiming incapacity-related benefits for more than a year.
Those found capable of carrying out some form of work will be expected to look for a job, with help on offer for those who need re training.
During the pilot scheme in 2012-2013, one third of those called for a test stopped claiming the benefit before the assessment.
One third were found to be incapable of work or exempt because of their illness or disability, and a third were found to be capable of some form of work.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare insists the latest eligibility tests are not aimed at saving money, but designed to ensure limited resources are used to help the most vulnerable:
