Outcry over post on Facebook
There have been three dog attacks on sheep in the past week.
A picture of one blood-stained dead sheep was posted on Facebook by a farming family yesterday and has led to plenty of comment.
The image was shared around 400 times, with the same number of 'likes' and more than 100 comments.
It was accompanied by an appeal urging walkers to secure their dogs near livestock.
