Police working with Post Office
The closure of the Island’s borders has led to an increase in drug smuggling between organised crime groups.
That’s according to the Isle of Man Constabulary, which has detected a number of packages containing illegal drugs in the Manx post.
It’s currently working with the Isle of Man of Man Post Office to identify and intercept further packages.
A number of arrests have been made relating to the production of controlled drugs.
Police are warning ‘robust action’ will be taken, should it find anyone involved in the importation and supply of controlled drugs to the Island.
