People urged to consider testing themselves
People who are sexually active are being urged to consider testing themselves.
It follows an increase in sexually transmitted infections on the Isle of Man – although Public Health won’t say which ones.
STI’s are spread during sexual or intimate contact and are not always symptomatic; if left untreated they can lead to serious health problems.
Anyone who is concerned can contact the GUM Sexual Health Clinic for free testing, support and treatment by calling 650710; appointments are confidential.
