MHK Alfred Cannan gave evidence reviewing committee system
There's a strong case for the Public Accounts Committee to have an Independent Chairman.
That's the belief of the Chairman of the PAC, Alfred Cannan MHK.
Mr Cannan was giving evidence to the Select Committee reviewing the committee system.
He says it's critical the Public Accounts Committee maintains its threat of scrutiny.
