Discussions held at Tory Party conference in Manchester
The Chief Minister is confident that the Island's current strategy of engagement with the UK Government is sufficient.
Allan Bell led a delegation to the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester earlier this week.
Whilst there he met Ministers and other party officials to discuss the relationship between the two nations.
Representatives from other British Overseas Territories and Crown Depdendencies, such as Guernsey and the Falkland Islands, occupied stalls at the conference.
They also participated in a fringe event considering their representation in British Parliament.
But Mr. Bell believes the Island's policy of independent negotiation is the right one to pursue:
