Three individuals and eight businesses penalised
Fines totalling more than £8,700 have been handed down at Douglas Magistrates Court to three individuals and eight businesses.
They've been prosecuted for Income Tax and National Insurance offences.
The largest sum of £6,500 related to non-payment of Income Tax payments and/or Class 1 NI contributions by three corporates.
Smaller penalties were imposed for offences including failure to submit personal Income Tax forms on time, failure to comply with a notice to submit income tax return forms, failure submit wage record information, and failure to submit accounts in support of a tax return.
