'Significant risk' of action by nurses was factored into planning
Nurses on Island won't take industrial action during this year's TT.
That's according to the Chief Executive of Manx Care who was speaking on Manx Radio's Mannin Line programme earlier today.
It was previously feared action would be called by the Royal College of Nursing, having rejected the latest pay offer from the healthcare body.
But Teresa Cope says whilst the pay dispute has yet to be resolved, the RCN has assured action won't take place over the racing fortnight.
She says the body is actively working to solve the ongoing pay dispute and recruitment issues:
