
Inflation on the Island has fallen again.
As measured by the Consumer Prices Index it now stands at 1%, down from 1.3% in August.
The figure as measured by the Retail Prices Index (RPI) held at 2.6% for September 2014.
Excluding housing costs, the annual rate of inflation shown by the RPI also held at 3.0% for September 2014.
Alcohol and tobacco showed a 3.8% rise in the month but there was better news for housholders - household equipment and maintenance dropped by 3.3%.
