'No decisions made' on airport dismissals
The Department of Infrastructure has issued a statement in response to a media release from Unite, which concerned staffing at Ronaldsway.
This morning, Manx Radio reported on claims from the union that unfair dismissals had taken place at the airport security section.
The department says it's currently consulting with staff in the aviation security section and their unions about possible changes to how this service is delivered in future.
It says staff members are aware this process is taking place, that no decisions have been made and that none will be made until the period of consultation has concluded.
