An injured swan will make her way to England for treatment on Sunday thanks to volunteers.
Sharon the Swan hurt her leg whilst coming into land during recent high winds.
She had been treated at Milan Vets in Castletown, and the Steam Packet Company has agreed to let her travel in a car to Birkenhead on Sunday.
The MSPCA are covering travel costs, which were reduced by the Steam Packer to those of a foot passenger, and she will be collected there by the Swan Sanctuary.
