Manx Radio understands a serving prisoner has been found dead at the Isle of Man Prison.
It's understood the male inmate died overnight.
It's believed phone lines have been restricted for other prisoners today (18 September).
The Department of Home Affairs and the Isle of Man Constabulary have been invited to comment.

The Isle of Man Prison and Probation Service later confirmed the death of Taylor Jake Murphy.
