Soup stirs compassion for vulnerable
Inmates at the Isle of Man Prison have been volunteering to support vulnerable people elsewhere in the community.
Prisoners have been making quantities of soup for the Douglas-based homelessness charity Graih on a fortnightly basis.
It's all made from organic produce grown in the prison garden.
Onchan Rotary club, which already supports Graih, is backing the project by providing containers and a Buffallo to heat the soup before the hot refreshment is offered to those in need.
Part of Graih's commitment is to assist offenders make a successful transition between prison and Manx society when they're released.
