The inquest into the death of a 35-year-old Onchan man who killed himself in 2011 has been adjourned until Friday.
Christopher Burrows was found hanged at his home on June 16, two days after leaving Grianagh Court day treatment facility.
The court is awaiting written responses from Dr Rajan Nathan, a consultant forensic psychiatrist from the UK, who has written a report on the case on behalf of the department of health.
Today the inquest heard from Professor Patrick Carr, a healthcare consultant from Cheshire, who said the department of health missed two opportunities to assess Mr Burrows under the mental health act.
The case continues.
