Rider died in crash at 13th milestone
An inquest into the death of a Manx Grand Prix competitor from Holland is due to open at Douglas courthouse this morning.
Forty-two-year-old Dennis Hoffer died following a crash near the 13th Milestone during the qualifying session on Wednesday, August 26.
He was making his debut on the Island, but had competed in Europe for a number of years.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham will begin proceedings at 10am.
