A family's paid tribute to their teenage son who was found dead earlier this week.
This afternoon the inquest into the death of 16-year-old Rohan Halls of Quine's Hill, Port Soderick, was opened and adjourned at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told the body of the King William's College student was found at his home on February 16.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham passed on his condolences to Rohan's family, and released his body for funeral arrangements to be made.
In a statement, Rohan’s family say they’re devastated at his sudden and unexpected loss.
They say they were fortunate and blessed to have him in their lives, albeit for too short a time.
They add he’ll remain in their hearts and memories forever.
And they also appealed to the media to respect the family's privacy.
