39-year-old Caroline Kelly died at home last month
An inquest has opened at Douglas Courthouse into the death of a mum and mental health campaigner.
Caroline Diane Kelly from Pulrose died last month at her home address.
Deputy Coroner of Inquests Alexander Armstrong gave details of the 39-year-old's medical cause of death, adding that post traumatic stress disorder was a factor.
He confirmed investigations are ongoing, and extended his condolences to her family, particularly given the "wider tragic circumstances."
Miss Kelly's death came just days after she took part in the Parish Walk to raise funds for two local mental health charities in memory of her daughter Emily, who died last year.
Mr Armstrong adjourned proceedings, with the inquest to be reconvened at a later date.
