
The inquest into the death of TT racer Karl Harris has been opened and adjourned.
The 35-year old born in Sheffield, died after an accident at the 26th Milestone on the Mountain road, known as Joey’s Corner, on the second lap of the Superstock Race on 3 June.
Two riders were involved in the incident and Mr Harris was found dead at the scene in a small ravine to the left of the road.
The inquest heard the rider died as a result of multiple injuries.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham passed on his condolences to the family of the triple British Supersport Champion, and released his body for funeral arrangements to be made.
