Mark Christian takes up role following Kevin Groom's retirement
Mark Christian takes up the post of Interim Chief Fire Officer on a six-month basis after Kevin Groom's departure.
Mr Christian first joined the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service in 1994, and has held the roles of station commander, deputy head of fire safety and head of operational support.
He says he's proud to have been given the opportunity to lead the service for the next six months.
