Fire crews called out at 1:30am
Fire crews had to tackle a gorse fire at Cregneash overnight.
Teams from Rushen, Castletown and Douglas stations were called out at around 1:30am to deal with the blaze which was spreading rapidly.
About 50 square metres of gorse was alight, with crews battling for over three hours to bring it under control.
An investigation into what caused the fire is continuing.
