The cause of this morning's fire at the Riverside Industrial Estate still hasn't been established.
Fire investigators and police remained at the scene this afternoon.
A call out to the blaze at a double garage workshop came at around 2.30 this morning and the property was already well alight by the time fire crews arrived.
Roads in the area were sealed off for several hours while the incident was dealt with as there were particular concerns about acetylene gas cylinders stored in the garage which had the potential to explode.
Crews were initially unable to enter the building because of the risk but the blaze was eventually brought under control just after 4am.
There were also environmental concerns, after a large drum of used motor oil ruptured and its contents leaked out. Coastguard members were called in to ensure the pollution was kept under control.
Cleaning of the area has continued throughout the afternoon.
