Investigations are continuing into a traffic accident in which a teenage girl lost her life.
She's been named locally and on social media as Lucia Porter, although police still haven't officially released the name.
Friends have paid tribute to the teenager on her Facebook page and her mother has posted the tragic news stating Lucia "will be missed more than words can express"
Seven other teenagers were injured in the incident, which is understood to have involved just one vehicle.
It was discovered by emergency services in a field alongside the Switchback Road outside Peel at around 11.15pm on Saturday evening.
The other youngsters were taken to Nobles hospital for treatment and two of them were later released.
