New strategy promised by gov't
A new strategy on arts and culture will be brought before Tywnald later this month.
It's been devised by the Isle of Man Arts Council and Culture Vannin with its launch promised in the Programme for Government.
The plan aims to promote and develop the arts here on Island, with those in favour claiming it has both economic and health benefits.
Chairman of the Arts Council, Geoff Corkish MLC, says funding for these areas is important for the community:
Man who launched attack on van driver sentenced
RNLI's last serving Mersey class boat visits the Island
Double victory for Island's heritage railways
Demolition work to get underway on Douglas high street site
Pan-Island Skills Test returns to the Isle of Man
