Men and women will face the hosts in their opening amtches
Both of the Isle of Man's basketball teams are feeling optimistic about their chances of pushing for success at this year's Island Games in Guernsey.
Representing the Isle of Man will be 12 players making up the men's squad and ten in the women's team at the games from 8-14 July.
In their respective groups, both Isle of Man teams will take on the hosts Guernsey in their opening matches.
Men's team member, Peter Boussougou and women's team captain, Becky Dunne, spoke to Manx Radio about their hopes at the games next month:
