BMA and Manx Care due to resume pay talks this month
The chair of the Isle of Man Medical Society believes doctors on the Isle of Man 'wouldn't say no' to a pay offer comparable to those agreed in the UK.
The British Medical Association has been seeking a 12.6 percent uplift for its members for the 2023-24 financial year but Manx Care says it must stay within its budget.
95 percent of those who took part in a BMA ballot before Christmas voted in support of industrial action.
However the union and the healthcare provider have both committed to further talks this month.
