Popular event now in seventh year
An official launch was held last night (Wed 8), as the final countdown begins to the 2018 Isle of Man Film Festival.
Now in its seventh year, the event boasts a range of tantalising prospects for film buffs this time round.
These include a presentation by Mark Kermode, a Q&A session with Katharina Kubrick, an exclusive VIP screening of 2001: a space odyssey and top Manx musicians performing their favourite movie songs.
But festival director, Dave Armstrong, says the focus is still very much on the festival's main purpose.
The festival runs from 5 to 9 September.
