Ballaherd and Staarvey farms scoop awards
The winner of the Isle of Man Food and Farming awards were unveiled at the Royal Agricultural Show in Knockaloe last night (Fri).
James Callow of Ballaherd Farm in Bride scooped the Farming Award, whilst Stephen and Jenny Devereau of Staarvey Farm in Patrick, took home the Food Award.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment's marquee was the venue for the awards - now in their ninth year.
The event is billed as a celebration of the best farmers and producers on the Island, other finalists included John and Fiona Anderson of Knockaloe Beg in Patrick, and Alan Teare and Rachel Ranson of Ballakelly Farm in Andreas.
