Charity remaining open for now
The Isle of Man Foodbank is introducing a drive-thru service to help try and combat the spread of Covid-19.
Existing clients can wait in the top car park or main road near the food centre at Ballafletcher House in Douglas, they will then receive a call to inform them their parcel is ready to collect.
They can then drive down to pick up their food parcel from a box.
For any residents in crisis the team will call you back at an appointed time to assess your needs.
The service aims to reduce the spread of the virus by avoiding direct contact.
Despite concerns, the charity has announced it will remain open for now, saying it will be "here to help you for as long as possible".
You can contact the IoM Foodbank team by calling 646999, 311550 or email isleofmanfoodbank@gmail.com
