Drowning is leading cause of death among Bangladeshi kids
Children in Bangladesh will benefit from a donation of almost £60,000 to the RNLI from the Isle of Man Government.
The £57,855 payment, which comes from the Government's International Development Budget, will be used to train 100 young people as swimming instructors to deliver lessons to rural communities.
Once qualified, the instructors will be able to provide life saving lessons to 10,000 children.
Drowning is the leading cause of death among children in Bangladesh, with 40 dying every day.
