Onchan MHK says having staff elsewhere can cause issues holding employees to account
An MHK says allowing Isle of Man Government employees to work in the UK is wrong.
Onchan member Julie Edge recently asked how many workers were based off Island.
Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford was unable to provide a figure for all of government, but did confirm four members of staff within the Cabinet Office don't work on the Island.
Ms Edge believes the Ranson tribunal highlighted the issues with having workers based elsewhere:
