Beckett to publish book dissecting the subject
The author of a new book hopes it will finally dispel the notion the Isle of Man is a tax haven.
Island-based lawyer Paul Beckett will this autumn publish ‘Tax Havens and International Human Rights Law’.
He believes a complex webs of trusts, companies and partnerships can lead to confusion.
And he insists that can reflect unfairly on offshore jurisdictions such as the Island:
