More police on patrol
Isle of Man police have responded to the UK government increasing the terrorism threat level to 'critical'.
More officers will be out on patrol across the Island - on foot and in vehicles - to reassure the public and enhance security.
And, Ronaldsway Airport's outer lane in front of the terminal has been closed to vehicles - meaning public pick-up and drop-offs will be limited to the car parks.
The Constabulary is advising residents travelling to the UK or other countries to consider their security and take sensible precautions.
It's recommending travel and security advice via two UK government websites: gov.uk/government/organisations/national-counter-terrorism-security-office
and at gov.uk/foreign-trade-advice
