Good PR for Manx language says Culture Vannin
An award-winning radio documentary about the Manx language is great publicity for the Island's native tongue.
That's according to Manx language development officer for Culture Vannin, Adrian Cain.
Jenny Goggin and Treasa Bhreathnach from the Irish language department at BBC Ulster came to the Island in May 2014 to record the documentary.
It has since picked up the 'Best Irish Language' category of the Phonographic Performance Ireland Awards in Galway.
Mr Cain says it's good to see interest in Manx from overseas:
Child benefit payments delayed due to technical issue
Manx Care says it is 'doing a lot of work' to tackle concerns raised by doctors
New elective surgical unit will be 'nice controlled environment'
