Microgaming says it's not
One of the Island's largest employers, Microgaming, is stressing that having a university degree isn't always essential for building a successful career.
Natasha Whittaker is a HR Manager at the e-Gaming company whose headquarters are on Circular Road in Douglas.
And yesterday (Thurs 10th), Natasha greeted students from all six of the Island's secondary schools, as well as members of the public, at the Employment and Skills Fair 2017.
Her message was that the scope for progression in businesses like hers is great:
"When you're delivering healthcare on an island, your costs are going to be higher"
