Questions after announced rise to Income Tax
There are questions around what this week's Budget announcements will mean for government's targets to expand the Island's working population.
The Economic Strategy, approved in 2022, aims to grow the overall population to 100,000 by 2032.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson was asked whether a two per cent rise in the higher rate of Income Tax could be seen as a disincentive for median-income earners looking to move here:
