A Manx Christmas coin is selling for more than 1,000 times its worth
The 50 pence piece, minted in 2003 and featuring the Raymond Briggs animated Snowman and James characters, has been known to fetch in excess of £500 at auction.

A spokesperson for the Britannia Coin Company says it's one of the most sought after Christmas coins.
